Wallke H9 eBike | How To Use Cruise Control
How to use Cruise Control on the Wallke H9 AWD electric bike amzn.to/3QUiJgQ). The owners manual and website did not have any information on using this feature, which led me to buy a throttle control lock device that attaches to the grip. Although the ebike does have an integrated cruise control, I still like the throttle control lock as it can be used as a thumb throttle and twist throttle to reduce fatigue on the hand while on long rides.

Wallke has terrible customer service. They offer a phone number to call for assistance in the manual, website, and at the footer of their emails and NO ONE answers the phone. So many changes have been made to the E bike H9 that these videos quickly become obsolete...their manual has a lot of missing information as well. Terribly produced. I just bought my H9 2 weeks ago. I regret it.
worked like a charm
Are you running the Dual batteries or just the single in the back?
Just the single battery in the back. The dual battery kit was sold out when I bought my bike. Thanks for watching!
@@AFireMedia wow, with the range you reported and still having +30% left, I thought you'd have dual batteries. 👍🏼👍🏼 I'm sure you'll Source another battery in time. Thanks for sharing!
Glad u ain't spend too much on CC Because it does have it
Hi I loss my charger for my wallke max h6 my question 🙋♂️ is if someone can help me where I can buy ? Thanks
Since you changed out the seatpost, can you still remove the battery without hitting the seat? Or you have to raise the seatpost every time you take out the battey.
He probably does, there isn't a lift lever
With this setup, I would have to remove the seat and post completely in order to pull the battery out. I've been actually just plugging the battery in while it's still mounted in the bike though. I found this puts less stress on the battery handle and terminals when being removed and reinserted. Thanks for watching!
Can you please show how to install the front fender and headlight?
The front fender and headlight attach to the same bolt with a nut and 2 washers. Orientation of the fender is self explanatory but if you go on RUclips to the “Wallke” page there’s a guy showing how to assembly entire bike.
@@gaboidawg I had it on at some point but the stupid one screw installation method made it slowly come lose over 1 day of riding so I took it off and the tiny screw that goes on the back fell and it vanished into this air so I just have to leave it off sadly both my tired popped today tho so I have to figure out how to take the back tire off now
Do these fit on a 2018 XTS ??
Hey I'm putting my H9 together right now and have a super quick question? Is there an e mail where we could exchange #'s if you don't mind ? Thanks, Chris

my bike used to go 26mph and now it goes 10mph, i undid all of the settings , didnt work, and idk how to reset my bikes settings(i have ez breeze elite ebike) please help
It’s a female. She never leaves the safety of the water except to lay her eggs usually in June/July. Be kind to them. 💚
Looks great man. I just ordered one for myself. I am going to black mine out as well.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
The final words made sense and it encouraged me to get that same throttle lock today. Thank you for your videos!
sadly mine didn't come with HDMI or optical cable in the box - decent product for the price!
I have a edikani bike will this work ?
Don't buy one of these. We got one from Amazon and the plug for the middle section won't close, it just flops around open as it is too loose and the back section deflates after a few hours. Can't even return it because it's impossible to get back in the box
Thanks for the info
i dont like the idea of exposed cables, any idiot with wire cutters can cut the cables just for fun.then you would have a job on your hands fixing them.
not many people carry wire cutters. Especially one's who find joy in destroying shit. just about anyone can find something to scratch a car "for fun" but i never get people keying my car ya worry wart
What is the distance on these dual batteries that you are getting? How many miles on a full charge compared to something like the ANIIOKI Dual battery.
I'm not sure on the comparison for an ANIIOKI bike, but here are some stats from my last extended ride where I had 28% battery remaining when I got home: 4 hour ride time, 72 miles, 18 mph average speed, +/-1000 feet ascent/descent. Hope it helps and thanks for watching!
On my 60ah h9 The furthest i have gone was 92 miles with very little pedaling. I used awd whenever i would accelerate from a stop and going up hills. Other than that I kept it in rear wheel drive to conserve battery.I got back with 22% battery. I'm 195 pounds, i had 30 pounds of gear. I'm not sure how accurate the battery percentage reading is but my top speed went from 32-33mph to 27-28mph after about 70 miles. It was able to maintain 25+ the rest of the way after the initial 70 miles.
I was messing with display dashboard, my problem is even if i pedal for like 5km the speedometer goes to like 50mph even im just like around 10km and it stops at motor stop when it reach 20km but the speedometer shows around 50km which is for me its a lie it never does that before
Sounds like either your speed sensor is malfunctioning or perhaps your wheel size might be set incorrectly? Could be a number of things unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
If I'm not mistaken, the bike does have cruise control, you have to hold the throttle at the speed you want, then hold down the minus key for a few seconds until the green cruise control logo appears on the display, unless there are different versions of this bike out there, some definitely have them. Peddling or braking should turn it off again.
You are correct! I just stumbled onto this feature last week when I was out riding. Surprised this wasn't included in the manual or online as it's a pretty strong selling feature IMO. Thanks for watching!
didnt work on mine, suntour hesc system
I want to upgrade the rear shocks on mine. The factory ones are way too stiff and don't absorb anything.
It's a Ebike definitely worth upgrading! A good seat is also something that should be upgraded as the distance is incredible allowing for long rides.
I prefer these stiff shocks, very good control on bumpy terrain. H6 has softer shocks, I didn't like them.
@@ryan___ryan2711 I hate these shocks. feels like my teeth are going to fall out on bumpy terrain. Every real expensive mountain bike has soft shocks. Soft shocks give you better control on bumpy terrain.
The Suntour suspension seat post and oversized saddle makes a world of difference for me! I'm maxed at 45 miles with most bike setups, but have no trouble doing 70+ miles with this current setup. Thanks for watching!
@@AFireMedia but that seat doesn't tilt forward. Doesn't it get in the way when removing the battery?
Just got my H9 and the front wheel attachment looks different than yours. They changed the design. Also the aluminum bar that the battery locks onto is black on mine.
Did you figure it out I just got mine I didn’t have the 2 black things attached to my tire in the bag and the washers etc on my tire are different
@@itzjustkris7964it’s a different design, but it works. It worked on mine.
@@djp1234 I got mine to work too no idea if it’s correct but the wheel spins and I love it lol they need to make the manual better or have an updated assembly it’s my first E-BIKE and wow is it powerful
@@itzjustkris7964how did you get your front wheel work? I recieved mine yesterday, no black u-bracket, wrong washers, 1 anti rotation washer (can’t get to fit), front motor cable rubber protector was already frayed when I opened the box, I’m lost and frustrated right now! Walkee changed the design of the forks and their videos suck showing assembly because they never zoom in so I can see the type of washer used.
@@gaboidawg the silver bar that is protecting the forks has the 2 black things you need I contacted support and now you only use one anti rotation washer you put the two normal washers on the wheel then slide it into place it’s a bit of a snug fit tho then you put the anti rotation washer on the side without the disc brake then followed by placing those 2 black things on the ends it will fit snuggly on the side with the disc brace but have a small gap on the side with the anti rotation washer but the screws can still secure it fine then place a the last flat washer after that black thing on the side without the rotor then just screw on the castle nuts As for the cord issue I have no idea lol I struggled getting the front fender and headlight mounted so I just left them off I just got both my tires flat today tho sadly from surprise goatheads now waiting for flat out to arrive then whenever I find out how to take the back tire off I’ll get Tannus armor Also couldn’t figure out how to mount the back seat but I left it off anyways coz I preferred a basket for the back I have up close photos of the correct finished install of the stuff if you want I can email them to you
Get better rubber tires. The stock tires are thin nylon junk
It's definitely on my list to upgrade the tires, but I'm waiting for one to give out first. I'm up to 520 miles or so without issue, but fully expecting one to catch a nail eventually lol. I'd like to try the tire inserts for extra protection too, I've heard they work pretty well. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@AFireMediaThose tires truly are awful. i have 1600. miles on my h9 and I got the HEB allscape. Love them. They're high grade and quiet. turns feel so much better with them as well. Love the video man. I'm Going to Black mine out now i love the look. I may upgrade my seat too. I put a nice cushion that covers the seat on it but i love the suspension idea. My seat has to be at about the same height as yours because i have an alarm mounted on the seat posts (with 2 black zip ties) Going to check out your page now.
I have the same bike. It does have built in cruise control...hold the minus button down while maintaining the speed you want with throttle only. A green light will come on the display...your welcome
Aw sick, so that's how I accidently did that once
Just stumbled onto that feature last week while out riding - was super happy to find it lol. Thanks for watching and commenting!
What is the cruise control piece called?
It's called a Cruise Control Throttle Lock. Thanks for watching!
Just a heads up while you are riding if you hold down on the minus button for about 2-3 seconds it will set the cruise control for you
What is the fuse# for the side makers on 2013 XTS PLATINUM…???
Since there's no videos for installing on ct4, this was the closest instruction one can get for ct4 until when it's time to remove the plastic lense off the bumper. For the ct4, the lense is screwed in by a t15 screw. It is not the easiest to remove due to the way the assy is designed. You will def need a mini 1/4" rachet to get to it. Why couldnt they have just used the clip on design of the previous gen? Using a t15 screw to attach is way over engineered when a working solution already existed. Only benefit I can think of is if the clips broke over time or careless handling, the the whole assy is garbage.
thats a cool fork 😏 🍴
Will the large seat fit in a Honda civic? I have a small weiner dog but I want her to have space.. I’d like for her to ride up front with me so I can see her.
So my bike doesn't indicate how full it is, it was three bars full while the display said it was full, do you know how to fix this?
Do you by chance have an updated link? The two provide no longer work. I would appreciate it
Hope it helps > amzn.to/4du0Q20 - Thanks for watching!
Is this the same for a 2005 cadillac cts?
Mine doesn't have buttons. There's a remote. Is it possible to do this?
Was trying to get a 40 year off old headliner and didn't have anything to get them off,ill be damned I had a fork in the garage 😂 genius son.... it's work's... great tip and video thank you...
That's awesome! Glad it helped and thanks for watching and commenting!
My left side.isnt working just installed on my ct6, could be the light but i doubt left side amber was already not turning on anyone know how to trouble shooy this help!!
Watch the teaching mechanic closely I put in two of them in less than 15 minutes That is remarkable because my back is fused except for T3 to T12 and I am unable to bend over to see what I'm doing. I'm doing it all with a hand mirror andsense of touch. GREAT tutorial 3:25
Can you switch from single motor to dual motor on the fly?
Yep, you can switch between all modes while riding. It handles the motor switch over very smoothly.
Hello, I have a 2013 XTS PLATINUM.. did yours have a plastic cover over the emblem?
No, not that I can remember. Thanks for watching!
@@AFireMedia thanks … that is a 2013 platinum XTS you have right?
Yep, 2013.
I like your video. I am interested in the Wallke H9 bike but few friends bought it and they all complain about front motor makes a weird noise while its activated, are you experiencing the same problem and whats the solution in your opinion? Thank you.
The only issue I've experienced with the front motor is when the bike is in AWD mode and running near top speed (27+ mph). It seems like the front motor has a hard time keeping up and it starts skipping or shuddering, almost as if the front wheel is maxed out. Sometimes if I let off the throttle it will fix the issue, but most of the time I either reduce speed or switch to rear motor only for top speed. It bothered me initially, but since the battery drains super quick at top speeds (especially with dual motor), it'll be pretty rare that I go that fast and experience the issue. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Does anyone have trouble with the odometer resetting? My odometer resets every other day and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Can I charge this bike with 220 volts?
Yes. The charging brick accepts 100-240V, 50-60hz. It's a standard international charging brick.
I don’t think the distributors of the bike could’ve made a better video.
My 1995 Accord EX had an actual light in the switch that lit up when the door was opened.
